Self Managed Super Funds

Many of our clients are taking control of their superannuation through the formation and management of a Self Managed Super Fund. The Trustees of the fund have the power to make decisions about the members, beneficiaries, investment strategies and investment choices of the fund.

Legislation allows borrowings in an SMSF for the purchase of direct property (both commercial and residential). In this case the SMSF may be able to borrow funds through what’s known as a Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangement. We work with a number of lenders to arrange these loans.
